Thermal baths in Hvalfjörður

Hvalfjörður is a fjord on Iceland's west coast between Mosfellsbær and Akranes, about 30 km north of Reykjavík in a straight line. Hvammsvík's hot springs are on its southern shore, where the sea reaches some of the pools at high tide. At the head of the fjord, about 16 km east, a hiking path climbs beside a canyon to the Glymur waterfall.
