Thermal baths in Überlingen
On the north shore of the Überlinger See, the long north-western arm of Lake Constance, Überlingen climbs from the waterfront up a steep slope. Its Bodensee-Therme runs along 200 metres of shore with a gravel beach, and the sauna garden opens straight onto the lake.

Überlingen drilled its own thermal well after a council decision in 2000: the water is pumped from about 700 metres at 36.8 °C and fills every warm pool, from a 25 metre sports pool at about 27 °C to cascade pools at 33 to 36 °C.
