Thermal baths in Soltau

Soltau is in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath in Lower Saxony, roughly halfway between Hamburg and Hanover, and the Heide Park theme park is on its edge. The Soltau Therme pumps strong brine from under its own building and dilutes it for a warm indoor pool, with a textile-free sauna area next door.

    Soltau's bath pumps its own brine, measured at 29.2 % salt, from about 200 m below the building and dilutes it to 3 to 5 % for a 265 m² indoor pool at 34 °C.
