Kristall Wohlfühltherme Ludwigsfelde
A brine bath at Ludwigsfelde, south of Berlin, with four indoor and two outdoor pools, from a 28 °C fresh-water pool to a 12 % natural brine outdoor pool at about 36 °C and a soda pool, plus a separate sports pool. The Therme is textile-free except on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings, and its 13 saunas include five outdoor ones built into old alpine huts, mills and granaries, some almost 300 years old.

- Free car park and multi-storey car park at the baths; motorhomes may stay overnight at the back of the car park with a permit from the till

- RE3 or RE4 from Berlin to Ludwigsfelde every half hour, then 900 m on foot (signposted), or bus 708 from the station to the Kristallbad stop, hourly Monday to Friday (last bus to the baths 16:36, last back 17:25).

- The Therme is textile-free; on Wednesdays all day and on Sundays until 17:30 bathing is with or without swimwear. Saunas are always textile-free. The sports pool is swimwear only.

About Kristall Wohlfühltherme Ludwigsfelde
In the indoor brine pool a grotto is modelled on the Blue Grotto of Capri, and a pool bar stands in the middle of the bathing hall. After dark the current channel is lit up. The saunas run on scent: in one outdoor cabin coffee beans give off their aroma over the stove, another is lined with birch wood for venik infusions with birch twigs, and in the lemon sauna fresh lemon slices sit above the heater. There is also an Ottoman hamam with a marble warming stone, and a show sauna built with about 30 tonnes of marble.
