Thermal baths in Tbilisi

Abanotubani, Tbilisi's bath quarter, lies in the old town on the Mtkvari (Kura) river, below the Narikala fortress where the sulphur springs rise. Chreli Abano, the bathhouse on this page, rents private rooms with their own hot sulphur-water pools. A few minutes' walk away, a cable car crosses the river from Rike Park up to Narikala.
