About Sauna et Bains collectifs, Ground Control
The saunas sit inside Ground Control, a 6,500 m² former SNCF postal sorting hall near Gare de Lyon, and the venue's name is a nod to David Bowie. The operator pitches a session as a social evening, like meeting over a drink but with less alcohol and more heat, and claims an hour and a half in its saunas is worth more than two pints. Hot rounds alternate with the cold, and guests can talk with the people beside them or stay silent.
