Grimbergen, the Flemish town that gives its name to an abbey beer, is about 10 km north of central Brussels. Thermae Grimbergen, a sauna complex on the edge of town, keeps a nude section and a swimwear section side by side, with a natural swimming pond in the garden. Meise Botanic Garden, about 3 km west, has large glasshouses and a castle in its grounds.
