Swimming in San Andrés
San Andrés is a village on the north-east coast of Tenerife, about 8 km north-east of central Santa Cruz at the foot of the Anaga hills. Its beach, Playa de las Teresitas, is a long strip of golden sand behind an offshore breakwater. Walking trails into the laurel forest of the Anaga Rural Park start at Cruz del Carmen, about 10 km west.
