Swimming in Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca is a town on the southern tip of Lanzarote, about 25 km south-west of the island's airport. East of the town, Playa de Papagayo is a small white-sand cove in the Los Ajaches protected area, reached by a dirt track and a short walk. From the harbour, about 4 km west of the cove, ferries cross to Corralejo on Fuerteventura in about 25 minutes.
