Swimming in Toroni

Toroni lies near the south-west tip of Sithonia in Halkidiki, facing the Toroneos Gulf about 100 km south-east of Thessaloniki airport. Toroni Beach runs for more than two kilometres in front of the village and ends at the Lekythos headland, where a castle stands in ruins. About 3 km south, the enclosed harbour of Porto Koufo has fish tavernas and boats for hire.
