Swimming in Pelekas
Pelekas stands on a hill on Corfu's west side, about 9 km west of Corfu Town. The beach below it, Kontogialos, is a long strip of sand with a small fishing harbour at its southern end. Walkers on the Corfu Trail, a long-distance route across the whole island, end one of its stages in the village.
