Paleokastritsa

Agios Spyridon is the central sand beach of Paleokastritsa bay on Corfu's west coast, one of six coves cut into cliffs and sea caves, with the Monastery of the Virgin of Paleokastritsa on the headland above. Small boats leave from Alypa harbour next door for the coves along the coast, including Chomi, which has no way in by land.

Six coves and beaches line the bay. Agios Spyridon, the central one, is sand and has facilities for people with disabilities; next door, Alypa has a small harbour where caiques leave for trips along the coast, and the white-pebble cove of Chomi can only be reached from the sea (Visit Corfu).
Public transport
KTEL Kerkyra (green buses) route A9 runs from Corfu Town to Paleokastritsa, about 50 minutes.
