Swimming in Orthonies
Orthonies stands in the north of Zakynthos, about 19 km north-west of Zakynthos Town, above the limestone coast that runs up to the island's northern cape. Below it, Xigia is a narrow cove of pebbles and sand between steep headlands, where sulphur from the nearby caves reaches the water.
