Swimming in Neos Marmaras

Neos Marmaras is a seaside town on the west coast of Sithonia in Halkidiki, facing the Toroneos Gulf about 93 km south-east of Thessaloniki. Lagomandra, a pair of small sandy coves with pines growing down to the sand, lies about 4 km north on the road to Nikiti. Up on the slopes of Mount Itamos, about 5 km by road, you can walk the stone lanes of Parthenonas and look out over the gulf.
