Swimming in Nea Potidea
Nea Potidea stands on the narrow isthmus that joins the Kassandra peninsula to the rest of Halkidiki, about 47 km south-east of Thessaloniki airport, where a canal cuts through from gulf to gulf. Portes Beach, a sandy shore with hotels behind parts of it, runs north of the village.
