Swimming in Marathias

Marathias is a village near Corfu's south-west coast, about 23 km south of Corfu Town. The long sand beach below it carries on to the south-east, where it takes the name Santa Barbara. In the hill village of Chlomos, about 5 km north, you leave the car at the entrance and walk the stone lanes up to a church that looks over the south of the island.
