Swimming in Loutra Edipsou

Also spelled Edipsos

On the north-west coast of Evia, Loutra Edipsou is a spa town facing the mainland across the North Euboean Gulf; from Athens you can drive to Arkitsa and take the ferry over. The town beach listed here is where water from the hot springs runs into the sea. Boats from the village of Lichada, about 16 km west, take people out to swim and snorkel around the Lichadonisia islets.
