Swimming in Kolymbia
Kolymbia, a resort on the east coast of Rhodes, lies about 21 km south of Rhodes town and 18 km from the airport. Tsambika Beach lies about 3 km to the south, a sandy bay below the rock topped by the monastery of Panagia Tsambika. A steep path of about 500 m climbs through cypress trees to the monastery.
