Swimming in Glyfada

Below the hill village of Pelekas on Corfu's west coast, Glyfada is a beach about 10 km west of Corfu Town and 9 km from the airport. Its fine sand lies under steep cliffs covered in pine. About 1 km north, Myrtiotissa is a sand beach at the foot of green cliffs, reached on foot from the narrow road above, with a monastery a few minutes' walk away.
