Swimming in Falassarna

Falassarna lies on the west coast of Crete, about 7 km west of Kissamos and 40 km from Chania. Its sandy beaches run into one another, making one long stretch of shore facing the open sea. About 2 km north are the excavations of ancient Phalasarna, with its harbour and a throne carved from the rock.
