Alykes Beach (Ammouliani)
A fine white-sand beach on Ammouliani, an island about 6 km long that is reached by a 10 to 15 minute ferry from Tripiti, with tavernas and beach bars behind the sand. Ammouliani's folk museum keeps the belongings that refugees carried from Prikonisos in the Sea of Marmara.

Expect the sea at about 26 °C in July and 13 °C in February, going by the 1991 to 2020 averages. The swimming season runs from May to October.
Getting in
- Access
- Ammouliani is reached only by the ferry from Tripiti, which carries cars; the operator asks drivers to be at the Tripiti pier half an hour before departure. The Municipality of Aristotle lists sunbeds, changing cabins, showers, beach bars, cafes and tavernas at Alykes, and in May 2026 equipped it as one of seven beaches with sea access for disabled visitors.
- Public transport
- The Ammouliani Lines ferry (boat 'Gorgoypikoos') crosses from Tripiti to Ammouliani daily in 10 to 15 minutes, with tickets sold only on board. KTEL Chalkidikis buses run from Thessaloniki to Tripiti 4 times a day (timetable for 5 October 2026), taking about 2 hours.
